My commissioned picture taken for the National Trust’s fun day on Portstewart Strand on the hottest day of the year.

This 8 foot panel is on display at Ewarts Warehouse 17 Bedford Street Belfast

I was very honoured when Rev Ken Newell asked to use my picture for the front cover of his book “Captured by a Vision”. The book was launched on 23 April 2016 in Fitzroy Presbyterian Church Belfast. I took this image as a press photographer when he was appointed Presbyterian Moderator in Ireland in 2004.

He became involved in secret discussions with Republican and Loyalist paramilitary groups, contributing to the IRA and Loyalist ceasefires of 1994. For this work he and Fr Reynolds of Clonard Monastery were awarded the Pax Christi International Peace Prize for a 'grassroots reconciliation initiative'.

He participated in some of the most important events in the recent history of Northern Ireland and received an OBE for 'his contribution towards peace'. This is his memoir. A brilliant read.
